We have a lot of funs at our work place recently.
Me & my gal mates went to Langkawi in Feb and now we are planning to go Hatyai for a 2D1N shopping trip. Anyone interested? We plan to go by van..
Wow.. I am really excited of this trip as we will get our dearly boss "Jennifer" to join us... Can you guys image how crazy it'll be for a whole group of gals doing crazy shopping at Hatyai??
Well, before we go... i need you guys to gimme some Hatyai travelling tips:
1. Where to get nice dresses/shoes with lowest price??
2. Where to have 1st class Thai massage?? I gonna bring Achew along & let him enjoy this..
3. Where to have good food there??
4. What are the MUST go places there??
5. Any good recommendation to get cheap package for 2D1N Hatyai trip in Penang??
6. What are the things that we should be careful of??
We are planning to go during end of April.. Hopefully it won't be that peak season on 22/Apr..
You guys know what, i have checked Air Asia & just found out that the promotional rate for KL --> Hatyai is only RM19.99 per way (exclsive tax).... If you guys depart from KL, that will be a very attractive offer, isn't it??

i went to Hadyai with Mark's family recently. Took a van from Bkt Kayu Hitam, i think it was like RM250 to and fro. Stayed at Novotel Central Sukhontha for a night. It's strategic and located in the midst of shopping complexes and night market. I would say Hadyai is not a shopping paradise compared to Bangkok, nothing really cheap and attractive. Food is so so, perhaps too Malaysia-nized already. Ppl can speak hokkien. As for Thai massage, everywhere is almost the same, just look for the cheapest. Mark went and vowed never to go for it anymore. Foot massage not bad though at RM25. 2D1N should be sufficient :)
